Another centuries old cookie that has been in our family for 5 generations. The outer sesame seed crunch goes well with the satisfying moist citrusy center. These last wonderfully in the pantry for up to 6 weeks in an airtight container, like tupperware. These are a great dipping cooke for coffee or tea. They come from my Mothers side and reflect part of their Sicilian heratige.
